Working Experience
- Prior to his appointment, Daniel was the Cluster General Manager for the Vietnam Cluster under East Asia Area Services Company Limited, within Exec & Corporate Services – General Management. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, he oversees Finance, CORA, TM&D, Business Development/PMD, and broader cluster operations.
- He manages multiple functional heads and is recognised for his inclusive leadership style and strong advocacy for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). He has been featured as a Future Leader in the EMpower Role Model Lists for championing DEI, implementing coaching culture frameworks, flexible working, enhanced parental leave, and well‑being programmes. Under his leadership, BAT Vietnam has advanced community programmes focusing on social impact, including women’s economic empowerment and farmers’ livelihood enhancement. He also participates in high‑level regulatory and industry engagements, representing BAT in dialogues with government bodies.
- Daniel started his career in British American Tobacco Taiwan in 2005. He has more than twenty (20) years of international experience in British American Tobacco p.l.c. Group. He was the General Manager for Taiwan Cluster (2019-2021) and the General Manager, Cambodia (2018-2019).
