Bukit Damansara , 14 December 2018 - British American Tobacco (Malaysia) Berhad was awarded the ‘Highest Return on Equity Over Three Years in the Consumer Products and Services Sector’ at The Edge Billion Ringgit Club 2018.
Its Finance Director Ricardo Guardo accepted the award from Ho Kay Tat, CEO and Publisher of The Edge Group and Datuk Ong Eng Bin, CEO of OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Bhd at a gala dinner held in Kuala Lumpur recently.
The leading tobacco company in Malaysia upheld its reputation as a leader in the category, having won the same award for eight years now.
The Edge Billion Ringgit Club was first held in 2010 as a way to recognise Malaysia’s top performing listed companies with a market capitalisation of above RM1 billion. There are 170 The Edge BRC members this year.
