These HR recognitions given over the course of 2018 illuminate and solidify both BAT Malaysia and BAT Global Business Services as leading employers that set outstanding standards of employee offerings in Malaysia. This is primarily based on BAT’s commitment in building a dynamic and innovative workplace and striving to optimise its innovative employment practices for employee development. Since its inception, BAT has always focused about addressing employees’ individual, thus forming a backbone for diversity and inclusion in a workplace.
Sanjay Patel, Global Head of BAT GBS said: “We believe that the happier our employees, the better spokespeople they will be for our organisation. This is the very reason we continue to invest in our people, by harnessing their talents, cultivating their individualism, celebrating their diversity, lauding their ideas, and going to great lengths in ensuring this conducive environment promotes their empowerment.”
Samanmali Chandrasiri, HR Director of BAT Malaysia added: “Taking a cue from our theme of ‘Building a Fair Society’, BAT endeavours to lead by example, not only for our people but also other workplaces in the country to show how a positive environment can galvanise employees to go above and beyond expectations to excel in their places of employment.”
